Telemetry RN Job in Statesboro, GA

You will work nights as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry department at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA. This is a 13-week travel assignment running three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Your Role

You will float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry departments, delivering patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will manage a patient ratio of 1:6–7, supported by a Patient Care Technician caring for 14 patients on the combined 35-bed unit. Your responsibilities include medication administration using bedside scanning, direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practices, and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.

Unit Details

The department has a monthly volume of 810 patients and provides services including Medical-Surgical care, Remote Telemetry monitoring, Orthopedics, Post-op, Congestive Heart Failure, and Respiratory care.

Schedule

• Night shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 3x12 weekly schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts required
• Schedule varies based on unit needs
• No on-call required
• No blocked scheduling approved
• No 48-hour weekly guarantees approved

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Recent acute care experience required
• Minimum 2 completed travel assignments
• Recent Cerner (EMR) charting experience
• Navy blue scrubs required

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,955. The assignment begins October 19, 2026.
