PCU RN Job in Keene, NH

Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift. This is a temporary position running 91 days, starting September 28, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Weekly pay: $2,412
• 48-hour guarantee per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
• Position may float to Kingsbury as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
• 2+ years of Med Surg experience
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Dementia experience and management required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification

Important Notes

• Must work during holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
• Block scheduling will not be accommodated
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at time of upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Must have own personal vehicle as there is no public transportation available in the area
• Dress code: Traveler-provided professional scrubs with no logos
