MRI Technologist Job in Philadelphia, PA

Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology department. You will perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, obtain diagnostic imaging as ordered by physicians, and deliver quality care in a safe environment for patients from infant through adult.

Your Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MRI safety, and medical terminology
• Maintain high accuracy in patient positioning and imaging technique
• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information
• Prepare and administer contrast at the direction of the radiologist in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Ensure delivery of quality care in a safe environment across all patient populations
• Remain sensitive to the physical, cultural, and emotional needs of patients through effective communication, assessment, monitoring, and care skills
• Apply independent, professional, and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in the performance of duties
• Engage in continuing education to enhance patient care, knowledge, and technical competence

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Non-degree program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
• Registered Technologist (R)(MR) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Weekly pay: $3,170
