MRI Technologist Job in Philadelphia, PA

Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment. You will work 5x8 evening shifts at $3,180 per week, starting September 21, 2026.

Your Role

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, obtain diagnostic imaging as ordered by the physician, and maintain high accuracy in patient positioning and imaging technique. You will prepare and administer contrast agents at the radiologist's direction in accordance with state and federal guidelines. You will demonstrate solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MRI safety, and medical terminology in your daily work.

Patient Care and Safety

You will ensure the delivery of quality care in a safe environment for patients ranging from infant through adult. You will remain sensitive to the physical, cultural, and emotional needs of patients through effective communication, patient assessment, monitoring, and care skills. You will apply independent, professional, and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in the performance of your duties.

Professional Development

You will engage in continuing education to enhance patient care, public education, knowledge, and technical competence throughout your assignment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Non-degree program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
• Registered Technologist (R)(MR) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
