MRI Technologist Job in Philadelphia, PA

Join Temple University – Jeanes Campus as an MRI Technologist on a 90-day travel assignment. You'll operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images while delivering direct patient care in a dynamic radiology department.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI studies according to protocols established by radiologists
• Operate MRI scanner equipment to ensure images of consistent optimal quality
• Prepare scan rooms and equipment appropriately before each procedure
• Position patients, coils, and equipment as required for individual studies
• Maintain clear communication with patients throughout scanning procedures

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, days rotation
• Work every other Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Location: Philadelphia, PA
• Duration: 90 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,180

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Minimum 1 year of experience in CT or MRI preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
• Registered Technologist (R) license
• Registered Technologist (MR) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire
