Physical Therapist Job in Salinas, CA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel position at Pacific Coast Post Acute and Outpatient Physical Therapy in Salinas, California. This is a 91-day assignment starting July 6, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,482.

Role Overview

You will provide physical therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting, working with SNF patients to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. Your responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary care team members to support comprehensive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat SNF patients according to clinical protocols
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in Net Health per facility standards
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, social workers, and other team members
• Maintain professional communication and clinical documentation standards

Schedule and Requirements

Preferred schedule options include Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. You may be asked to float to a sister facility within walking distance as needed.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy License required
• SNF experience preferred; mentorship is available for candidates with 0–1 years of experience
• Strong documentation and time-management skills

• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment
