Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shifts, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Float between inpatient and outpatient care within the same facility
• Inpatient acute care setting
• Productivity expectation of 24 units in an 8-hour day
• Serve a 25-bed critical access hospital treating skilled nursing patients with an average length of stay of 14 days
• Common diagnoses include general SNF, wounds, ortho, neuro, and debility patients
• Perform evaluations and develop individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes
• Actively participate in discharge planning, implement treatment programs, and reassess treatment results
• Deliver services within an interdisciplinary team approach including patients and significant others
• May be asked to precept as needed by the unit
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a skilled or acute setting with some outpatient experience required
• New graduates accepted with at least 6 months of experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Texas and national OT license required
• Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
