Med Surg RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a full-time travel nursing role with multiple openings available.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Medical/Surgical
• Shift: 3x12 day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,286.36

About the Role:

You will provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Your responsibilities include administering medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, documenting patient history and symptoms, and assessing learning needs to provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. You will address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families while making appropriate assignments and delegating to other care providers. You will practice independently while maintaining awareness of all relevant clinical aspects.

Requirements:

• Current RN License in Louisiana or valid compact nursing license
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
