Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday (days will vary based on unit needs, block schedule not available)
• 26-week contract required - shorter contracts will not be considered
• Expected to work 2 of 3 holidays during contract period
• Time off is limited and excessive time off requests cannot be approved
• Assigned to Thoracic/Vascular Team - thoracic/vascular experience is required
• All circulators and scrubs must be proficient in endovascular cases
• Must be able to scrub and have scrub experience
• Travelers will take approximately four late stays per 13-week period based on unit needs
• Late stays typically extend no more than one hour past normal shift end time
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Adult patient population only - no pediatrics
• Case types include: neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, and lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• 56-bed OR (inpatient and outpatient) and 5 procedural rooms, Level 1 Trauma
• May float between OR rooms but not between locations
• Required certification: BLS (must be on file at time of submission)
• Tennessee or compact nursing license required and must be on file at time of submission
