PCU Registered Nurse Job in New London, NH

New London Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Weekly pay: $2,364
• Patient ratio: 6:1 with 2 LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor support
• No on-call responsibilities
• Every other weekend required; holidays required as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate collaborative care planning for individual patients
• Implement nursing standards in the processes of care
• Work within the EPIC EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (New Hampshire or Compact)
• 3+ years of current medical-surgical experience
• 2+ years of PCU/Stepdown experience
• Charge nurse experience required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Skills Checklist for Medical Surgical and Stepdown/PCU, current within 1 year
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment

Additional Requirements

• Personal vehicle required
• Must work scheduled holiday blocks: Thanksgiving Day and Friday after, weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day, weekend after
• No more than 5 days of requested time off accepted; must be noted at submission
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
• Previous travel experience preferred
