PCU RN Job in Keene, NH

Join Cheshire Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our 39-bed Progressive Care Unit. This 89-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to deliver skilled nursing care in a mixed-acuity setting that combines medical, surgical, and step-down level care.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday schedule
• Weekly pay: $2,322
• Start date: October 26, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity
• Care for a primarily elderly patient population (ages 18 and up)
• Administer and monitor Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• Provide telemetry monitoring and cardiac assessments
• Participate in NIH Stroke Protocol implementation

Required Qualifications

• Current NH RN License or Compact License (proof of state residency required)
• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Certification (must be current at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year 6 months of recent PCU, step-down, or equivalent critical-care nursing experience
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment
• Demonstrated competency with Cardizem and Amiodarone drip management
• Telemetry experience required
