PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• 13-week travel RN assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• 20-bed unit located on the 2nd floor
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Day and night shifts available with 5 RNs per shift
• Every other weekend requirement or equivalent based on staffing needs
• Work with GE cardiac monitoring equipment and Hospira IV pumps
• Document using Expanse EMR system
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Active compact license required at submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIAH
• Pre/post cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience preferred
• Prior HCA experience preferred
• May float to Med Surg, ICU for border patients, and Emergency Department for ED holds
• No required scrub color; professional attire expected
