ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week based on facility approval
• No on-call requirements
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Work in a 48-private-room emergency department with 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds
• Perform typical emergency department procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan lens, rapid infuser, and resuscitation
• Utilize equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
• Document using MEDITECH EMR system; prior Meditech experience preferred
• Trauma experience and inpatient holding experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
• RN dress code: Navy blue scrubs
