Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as required by facility
• Variable patient ratios
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Black scrubs required; no other attire acceptable
• Required licensure: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), NRP, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be a graduate from an accredited college program in Respiratory Care
• Prior Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care experience required
• Must maintain current state license in state of practice
• Must be registered as a therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Perform technical skills relative to respiratory practice and assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Assess and identify physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families
• Implement appropriate respiratory care interventions and procedures
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
• Coordinate workflow and communicate with appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Participate in physician rounds and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Demonstrate safe medication administration and adherence to infection control guidelines
• Stay current with literature and best practices in Neonatal and Pediatric Respiratory Care
