Emergency Department RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

You will work as an RN in the Emergency Department at Temple University – Jeanes Campus in Philadelphia, PA. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,235 weekly pay.

About the Role

You will staff a 28-bed Emergency Department with capacity for up to 6 hallway stretchers. Your nurse-to-patient ratio will be 4 to 5 patients per nurse. You will stabilize and facilitate transfer of walk-in trauma patients and pediatric patients requiring higher levels of care. There are no on-call or floating responsibilities.

Scheduling

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Every third weekend shift required
• Every other holiday required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in EPIC charting

Equipment and Systems Proficiency

You must be familiar with B. Braun IV pumps, Point-of-Care lactic and glucometer devices, EKG machines, Philips monitors, bedside bladder scanners, and Ceribell rapid EEG devices.
