ED RN Job in Conroe, TX

Join the Emergency Department at HCA Houston Conroe as a travel RN for a 13-week assignment. You'll work 3 shifts of 12 hours, nights (7 PM to 7 AM), with an every-other-weekend schedule. Your weekly pay is $2,235, and the assignment runs for 91 days beginning October 26, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department with 8 additional hall beds. Your patient ratio is 1:4, allowing you to deliver focused care in a fast-paced environment. You'll perform a variety of procedures including NIH assessments, IV placement and blood draws, moderate sedation administration, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring.

Equipment and Systems

You'll work with modern clinical equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP units, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines. The facility uses Meditech as its electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certification
