OR RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. This is a day shift position working 4x10 schedules from 6:40 AM to 5:10 PM, with an 89-day duration beginning August 31, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room, supporting patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary surgical team. You will perform detailed patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. Documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses must be accurate and timely. You may delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members as needed.

Experience Requirements

Strong experience is required in pediatric cardiac, neuro, ortho, general, and Level 1 trauma cases. Pediatric CVOR RN experience is required for this role. You must have a minimum of one year of acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.

Schedule and Expectations

The schedule includes day shifts with varied weekend, holiday, call, and float assignments per department guidelines. You will participate in shared leadership, staff education, precepting, and mentoring activities as part of your role.

Credentials and Certifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $2,768 for this 89-day assignment. Banner Desert Medical Center is located at 1400 S Dobson Rd, Mesa, Arizona.
