Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Purcell, OK

Join Tide Health Group - Purcell Care Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a long-term care setting. This is a temporary position offering 5×8 day shifts with no weekends or on-call responsibilities, running for 91 days beginning October 19, 2026. You'll earn $1,643 weekly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment under Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic modalities
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings with your supervising Physical Therapist
• Document all clinical and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Attend required trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Maintain adherence to APTA and Oklahoma state practice acts and code of conduct

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of PTA experience required
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Active Oklahoma PTA license required
• New graduates considered with completed Level II clinical experience (beyond Level I observation)
• Skills checklist completion within 1 year required
