Physical Therapist Assistant

Opportunity:

Physical Therapy Assistant Licensed - FS

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts with an assignment of 11-12 patients per day with a goal of 8 patients treated
• Acute, trauma/travel, and/or critical care experience preferred
• Oklahoma license preferred
• Work within a large rehabilitation department of 80-85 staff members including 11 travelers
• Carry out treatment plans developed by a Physical Therapist in accordance with physician orders under direct supervision
• Provide supervised treatments using modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and hot and/or cold packs
• Assist with patient transfers, exercise, and ambulation
• Provide therapist with input concerning effectiveness of treatments, adjustments needed to treatment plans, and adverse reactions
• Complete appropriate documentation in patient charts to be cosigned by licensed Physical Therapist
• Administer motorized traction to relieve neck and back pain
• Perform additional duties as assigned
