Physical Therapist Assistant

Opportunity:

PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab Outpatient

Job Details:

• Day shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• 1:1 patient to therapist ratio
• Daily census of approximately 7 patients
• At least 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must have experience and competency working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, post-operative patients, debility/falls, and balance
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include orthopedics, neuromuscular conditions, balance/coordination disorders, debility/generalized weakness, CVA, Parkinson's, lower and upper extremity conditions, spine/low back pain, post-surgical cases, and general med/surg diagnoses
• Required certification: BLS
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Oklahoma or compact license required
• May float between facilities if needed
• Self-scheduling available
• First-time travelers accepted
