ED RN Job in Cypress, TX

Join HCA Houston N Cypress as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This 13-week travel assignment runs 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three shifts per week, offering hands-on emergency care in a structured, supportive team environment.

Role Overview

You will work as a bedside RN managing patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 during night shifts. Your responsibilities include standard emergency department procedures such as tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic interventions. You'll document in Meditech and operate Philips equipment. No floating between units is required, and you have no on-call responsibilities.

Schedule & Staffing

Night shift staffing includes one Charge RN, one Triage RN, four Bedside RNs, one HUC, and one Tech. You will work a rotating weekend schedule as part of your 91-day assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
