Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 3x12 or 4x12 night shift schedule on weekdays and weekends
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• WV or Compact License required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (must be through American Heart Association)
• Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
• No scrubs provided
• Blocked schedule requests cannot be guaranteed, but unit will make efforts to accommodate travelers
• Maximum of 2-3 call offs tolerated per contract
• Care for adult patients in a 34-bed acute medical-surgical unit with a daily census of 25-30 patients
• Skills include blood product administration, IV management, PICC line management, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of complex medical-surgical conditions
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
