Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension, beginning August 10, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x12 night shifts (weekdays and weekends)
• $2,431 weekly
• Patient ratios of 1:5–7
• Daily census of 25–30 patients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• West Virginia or Compact License (pending license accepted for submission)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (through American Heart Association where applicable)
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system

Core Competencies

You'll manage a range of clinical skills including blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV insulin protocols, PICC and peripheral line care, wound care and wound vac management, tracheostomy care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial blood gas interpretation, heparin and insulin administration, isolation precautions and PPE, phlebotomy, PCA management, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, oral suctioning, and rapid response and code team participation.

Support and Facility Details

You'll have access to interdisciplinary support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. The unit cares for an adult patient population.
