CVICU RN Job in Denver, CO

You'll work as a registered nurse in a 16-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Denver. This is a travel position with a 91-day contract starting July 20, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, located on the 3rd floor of the main building. Your weekly pay is $1,971.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Monitor cardiac status using cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubations and central line placement
• Document patient care in the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a team including one CNC/Charge RN, eight RNs, and one PCT per shift

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of acute care ICU hospital experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with patient care focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations
• Prior Meditech EMR experience
