CVICU RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking an experienced CVICU RN for a regional contract position. You'll provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, with the expectation to float to NCMC and BFC based on staffing needs.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts
• Duration: 89 weeks
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,422
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation per unit

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical directives
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise healthcare team activities to implement patient care plans
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership activities

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum one year of acute care experience in CVICU specialty area
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months
• Direct OR open heart recovery experience required
• Impella and IABP experience required
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
