Opportunity:

RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Variable scheduling with rotating weekends required, with at least every other weekend expected and potentially more depending on staffing needs
• Patient ratio of 9:1 during days and weekends
• 40 orientation hours required
• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology experience required
• Prior outpatient oncology infusion center experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Administer infusions, injections, and chemotherapy treatments
• Manage port and PICC line care, including central line blood draws
• Perform therapeutic phlebotomy and IV starts, including peripheral ultrasound-guided IV placement
• Administer blood and blood products, coagulation factors, and immunotherapy treatments
• Monitor and manage chemotherapy side effects and handle cytotoxic spill disposal
• Care for patients with oncology, rheumatology, allergy, GI, pregnancy, and infectious disease diagnoses
• Treat adolescent and adult patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including IV teams, pharmacy, interpretation services, and unit secretaries
• Utilize Epic charting system (preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC (Chemo certification)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, OCN
• Valid California RN license required
