Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts running from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holidays worked as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
• Telemetry present but monitored on a different unit
• Floating required to all acute care, cardiology for medical patients, and EC for acute care patient holds
• CNA support available at approximately 1:8 to 1:10 ratio, may also serve as sitters
• Charting system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• 1 year of experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
• Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from the hospital based on address listed on driver's license
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• 44-bed unit with a staff of 40
