Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 119-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Low census on-call requirement
• Holidays rotate with permanent staff
• Weekly pay: $2,073.60

Clinical Responsibilities

• Patient ratio of 1:6 with CNA support
• Float assignments to Orthopedics, Neurology, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units
• Charge nurse responsibilities across all units
• Flexible with changing assignments during shifts
• Telemetry monitoring across different units
• Equipment experience required: BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger ventilators
• Charting in MEDITECH EMR system

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
• BSN not required
