Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on 3rd Surgical unit with 27-bed capacity
• Maintain patient ratios of 5-6:1
• Work with team of 5-6 RNs and 2-3 LNAs
• Day shift includes Charge RN, RNs, LNAs, and unit coordinator (Monday-Friday)
• Night shift includes Charge RN, RNs, and 2-3 LNAs
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• May float to Medical Oncology unit
• Work with equipment including Hoyer lifts, CPM machines, and code carts
• Use EMR systems for documentation
• Handle typical procedures including orthopedic surgery (knees, hips, shoulder, cervical) and bariatrics
• Minimum 2 years experience in Med Surg in hospital setting required
• Preferred experience includes 2+ years in med surg, orthopedics, or bariatrics
• Must work collaboratively with team members and maintain patient focus
• BLS certification required
• No specific scrub color requirements
• New Hampshire nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
