Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required (every other Saturday and Sunday)
• Must work 2 out of 3 paired major holidays: 11/27 & 11/28, 12/24 & 12/25, 12/31 & 1/1
• Float required between Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan locations
• Minimum 18 months recent ICU experience required, with 2 years overall experience preferred
• Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
• Indiana license and NBRC (RRT) required
• Preferred charting system experience: Cerner
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Must be comfortable with the following skills: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation Assist, Tracheostomy care/management, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Extubation, Drawing arterial blood gases, Oral/nasal suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, and Troubleshooting high pressure alarms
