ED RN Job in Colorado Springs, CO

St. Francis Hospital - Interquest is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in the Emergency Department. You will work 3x12 night shifts at $2,140 per week, starting November 2, 2026.

Role Overview

You will care for patients in a 15-bed emergency department with 2 trauma bays, treating 35+ patients daily. Your nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Common presentations include abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain. You will administer cardiac, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, sedation, and analgesic drips.

Facility Resources

The ED features a fast track area, separate triage space, and dedicated psych/seclusion rooms. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7 with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment on the unit. Lab draws are performed by both RNs and phlebotomy staff. Charting uses the EPIC system.

Schedule & Requirements

• Minimum 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Holiday requirements apply
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
• May float within Zone 1 during extreme need
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks

Required Certifications & Credentials

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• ENPC or PALS
• NIHSS
• NRP
• TNCC (must have prior experience)
• NIHSS (must have prior experience)
• Valid driver's license (must submit)
