CVOR RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will work as an RN in the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Schedule and Shift Details

• Work 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Mandatory call required 1–2 nights per week, including days and weekends
• First call coverage: 1 weekend per month
• Second call coverage: 1 weekend per month
• Holiday call may be required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in a facility with 6 OR suites and 1 Hybrid OR
• Perform approximately 7 cases per day, with a maximum of 15 cases per day
• Common procedures include open heart, vascular, endoscopic, thoracic, esophageal, general, hepatobiliary, and transplant (lung, liver, and kidney) surgeries
• Float to General OR or Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) OR as needed
• Charge nurse responsibilities possible

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) preferred but not required
• BSN not required
