ED RN Job in Tomball, TX

You are an RN with a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience, ready to join HCA Houston Tomball as a travel nurse for a 13-week assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform triage, patient assessment and reassessment
• Initiate IV lines and draw labs
• Obtain and interpret EKGs
• Manage a patient ratio of 4:1
• Operate standard ED equipment and the Expanse EMR system
• May float between the Main ED in Tomball and the Jersey Village location as needed

Schedule and Compensation

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) with 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule. Your weekly pay is $1,661 for the 91-day contract.

Requirements and Certifications

• Current RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• CPI/NICRIS training
• Expanse EMR experience required
• ENPC certification is preferred
