Job Details:

• Work in a 29-bed Operating Room unit
• Day and night shifts available with a staffing mix of 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Techs, and a Clinical Coordinator
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• Perform and assist with joint replacement, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery procedures
• Must be able to function as both a scrub and circulator across all service lines
• Rotating weekends are a possibility
• On-call requirements per 4-week period: 2 weeknight calls (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 2 weekend 24-hour calls, and 1 holiday 24-hour call if a holiday falls within the 4-week period
• Responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients
• Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting required
• Orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement experience required, including knee and hip replacement
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, CNOR
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Work with equipment including X-rays, preoperative tools, anesthesiology equipment, lab equipment, and electrocardiography/EKG
• EMR system: Meditech
• Scrub color: Navy blue or royal blue acceptable; no surgical-type scrubs
