RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Strong orthopedic background required
• 48-hour guarantee per week
• Work on a 26-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit (5 East)
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• Floating policy on a rotation basis
• Unit support staff includes unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators
• Equipment used includes coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Procedures performed on unit include knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries
• Must demonstrate compassion and teamwork
• Required dress code: Navy scrubs
