OR Registered Nurse Job in Bridgeport, West Virginia

WVU United Hospital Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 16, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,505.

Schedule and Hours:

• Work 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week on night rotation
• Call rotation includes one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend shift call per 3-month contract (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, up to 24 hours)
• Weekends scheduled as needed
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct perioperative nursing support across all areas of the OR
• Cross-train to Endoscopy as needed
• Work in a facility with 8 OR suites and 3 Endo suites handling approximately 65 cases per day
• Support procedures including Vascular, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Eyes, and ENT cases (no open heart)
• Operate equipment including Baxter pumps, Phillips monitors, and Dynomap robots
• Experience with DaVinci Robot is a strong plus—the facility recently began using this system
• Chart using the EPIC system

Requirements:

• Valid BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (required due to modern sedation protocols)
• Current, unexpired driver's license (copy must be submitted with application)
• Reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Experience required in all areas of the OR
