ED RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026, with 3x12-hour day shifts at $2,090.88 weekly.

Shift and Schedule

You will work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a full-time basis. Every other weekend is required, and there is a voluntary on-call requirement. You may be floated to other units to assist during low-census periods.

Core Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Systematically reassess patients to identify progress, trends, and required interventions
• Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans within established nursing standards
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on clinical facts and patient outcome evaluation
• Coordinate and implement age-appropriate patient care
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) certifications
• TNCC or ATCN certification

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI/De-Escalation certification

Additional Information

The facility uses EPIC for electronic medical records. Dress code is pewter or charcoal grey scrubs. You will work in a dynamic emergency care environment serving patients across all age groups.
