NICU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a registered nurse for the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). This is a 3x12 day shift position with a duration of 89 days, starting October 5, 2026. You will earn $2,559 per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for NICU patients
• Provide developmentally appropriate care tailored to the physical and developmental age of assigned neonatal patients
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, as well as discharge planning
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other healthcare personnel
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with facility policy
• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required by department needs

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current RN license required in the state of Arizona or compact state licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Recent Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
