Med Surg RN Job in Lander, Wyoming

You will provide direct and individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients at SH SAGEWEST HEALTH CARE in Lander, Wyoming. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 3x12-hour day shifts, starting September 7, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,205.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients and a wide variety of medical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team
• Prepare, administer, and record medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV routes
• Report adverse medication reactions and patient symptomatology in accordance with nursing policy
• Perform wound care, including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV starts
• Monitor specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and adjust care as needed
• Record vital signs and medical information accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care
• Initiate and implement physician-prescribed patient education plans
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments
• Participate in discharge planning and apply time management skills
• Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocol

Required credentials and licenses:

• Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association
