OR RN Job in Florence, SC

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Operating Room in Florence, SC. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning May 31, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week. You will earn $1,997.28 weekly.

In this role, you will work across multiple service lines including General Surgery, Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, and additional specialties. You will assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis. Your responsibilities include delegating, supervising, and evaluating activities of other team members while executing interventions in urgent or emergent situations.

Your core duties will encompass:

• Providing nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Completing verification of the Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Utilizing appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff within or out of the sterile field
• Prepping the operating room for patient procedures and positioning and preparing patients on the operating table
• Serving as the communication liaison between family members and the operating team
• Performing all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Assisting in the control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Recording all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner

You will be expected to maintain proficiency in computer programs utilized to deliver patient care and demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings. The schedule includes weekends and call responsibilities.
