Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Cases required: cardiovascular, heart and lung transplant; endovascular procedures a plus
• Core skills must include at least 3 of 4 of the following: CV, heart and lung transplant, endovascular procedures
• Shift options include 8 and 10-hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per workweek, three 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per workweek, or four 12-hour shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per workweek
• On-call required with approximately 110 on-call hours
• Block schedule availability to be discussed
• 1 full weekend required within a 6-week call schedule
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating is required and may include floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Scrubs are provided
• Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
• Parking: Free
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA (must be in hand prior to start)
• No Indiana state license required
• Local travelers accepted for this surgical services position
• First-time travelers not accepted
