Cath Lab Technologist Job in Conyers, GA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, Georgia. This is a travel position with an 84-day contract starting October 26, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4x10 days per week shift
• Weekly pay: $2,811
• Call schedule includes 9 to 10 days per month, including weekends
• Expected to work major holidays that fall within your assignment period
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• No time off requests permitted during orientation week
• 8 orientation hours required

Role Responsibilities

You will rotate between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology in a split lab environment. You will float within the facility and scope of practice as needed, including Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. Daily census averages 16 patients across 3 rooms, with adults and geriatric populations.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification required

Required Skills

You must have demonstrated competency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, angioplasty, cardiac ablation, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, carotid stenting, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, pacemaker insertion, IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement, hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, embolization, interventional radiology procedures, thrombolysis and thrombectomy, TIPS, upper and lower extremity angiography, and sterile technique maintenance.

Qualifications

You hold an Allied Health Professional degree and are eligible to work in the United States. You are prepared to work independently within your scope and collaborate effectively with the clinical team.
