Cath Lab Technologist Job in Snellville, GA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. This is a 112-week travel assignment on a 4x10 day shift schedule, starting October 12, 2026. You will earn $2,811 per week.

Role Overview

You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a 3-room lab with 5 beds, managing an average daily caseload of 5–10 patients. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Procedures include diagnostic catheterization, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants. EP studies and ablations are not performed here.

Core Responsibilities

• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• EKG lead placement and rhythm interpretation
• Obtaining and recording vital signs
• Supporting sinus node rhythm management
• Equipment operation and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience
• Prior travel assignment experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and either RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV certification
• Proficiency with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and CSI equipment
• Experience with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience

• Pacemaker procedures
• Pyxis, SBAR, and Merge systems

Schedule and Staffing

You will work every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Floating within the department and facility is required, with possible floating to sister campuses. Call requirements include 12–15 days per month, covering 2 weekends (Saturday/Sunday), plus late stays as needed. You may request a maximum of 7 days off per contract. Holiday work is expected based on major holidays falling within the assignment period. The facility provides scrubs.

First-time travelers are not accepted for this role. You must have established travel experience in healthcare staffing.
