Cath Lab Technologist Job in Augusta, GA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Doctors Hospital - Augusta GA. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities. Your weekly pay is $2,593.

Your Role

You will perform a range of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including diagnostic catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support, Impella assist device management, temporary pacemaker insertion, and moderate sedation administration. You will work alongside RN and RCIS staff, utilizing GE and MacLab equipment and documenting all procedures in the Meditech system.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Current RN and/or RCIS credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Facility Details

You will join an established cardiac catheterization team at a busy hospital facility. The lab runs a steady volume of diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Dress Code

RN staff wear royal blue scrubs; RCIS staff wear grey scrubs. Navy blue procedural scrubs may be provided by the facility.
