ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must work holidays in November and December; manager may consider 1 of 3 holidays if it does not conflict with unit demands
• No on-call or standby requirement; extra shifts available but not required
• No floating requirements
• Patient ratios of 1:3, or 1:4 for low acuity patients
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory conditions, abdominal pain, and mental health
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a larger trauma setting required
• Washington state or Compact nursing license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Nurse or ED Tech responsible for blood draws primarily
• RNs responsible for reading telemetry monitor strips
• Any professional scrub colors accepted
• Orientation includes 1 day of compliance information (8-10 hours) and 1 day of department orientation (12 hours)
• No requested time off will be considered during the first full week of a traveler's assignment
• BSN not required
