Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call required
• Every other weekend scheduling
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding as needed
• Work on a 34-bed private room telemetry unit on the 3rd floor
• Typical night shift team consists of a Charge RN, 7 RNs, and 3 PCTs
• Utilize equipment including GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors, and Meditech EMR
• Perform and assist with procedures including stress tests, heart cath, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes
• Must have cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Must have respiratory experience including advanced airways and oxygen management
• Must have experience with cardiac drips (non-titrated)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• CPR certification required
• Navy scrubs required
