Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 33-bed Medical/Surgical unit on the 4th floor of the main hospital
• Care for typical medical/surgical patients including telemetry, pre-operative and post-operative surgical patients, cardiac, respiratory, and GI patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Float throughout hospital to care for med/surg patients based on needs
• No on-call requirement
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 Unit Secretary
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, and 3 PCTs
• Work with equipment including bladder scanners, scales, vein finders, lift equipment, IV Sonosite, iMobile devices, computers in patient rooms, and workstations on wheels
• EMR system: Meditech
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Texas RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• CPI/SAMA preferred
• Patient-centered mindset, team-oriented, collaborative, professional, and accountable personality fit preferred
