OR RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at WVU JW Ruby Memorial Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 21, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,505.

Schedule

• Rotating schedule: two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per week
• 12-hour day shifts: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 12-hour afternoon shifts: 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• 8-hour day shifts: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 8-hour afternoon shifts: 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, or 2:30 PM starts
• Weekend shifts required, 12-hour blocks
• 8 to 12 hours of weekly call; 20 to 30 hours of standby call per 4-week period with 30-minute response time
• Holiday call open for discussion

Role Details

• You will circulate independently and take call as required
• Scrubbing is not required
• You will not be placed in charge nurse or house supervisor roles
• Float between 5 North and 2 West operating suites depending on experience
• Facility handles 80 to 120 cases per day across 33 total OR suites
• Service lines: orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, bariatrics, ENT, and ophthalmology

Equipment and Systems

• Charting: EPIC OP-Time
• Equipment includes Bovie machines, forced air warmers, Neptune suction, drill consoles, Xi Robotics, Ligasure, and Argon Beam
• Scrubs provided

Requirements and Support

• Current BLS certification required
• BSN not required
• Orientation provided for both 5 North and 2 West: 2 to 3 shifts, including EPIC training
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
