Telemetry RN Job in Prescott Valley, AZ

Yavapai Regional Medical Center - East is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7:30 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend requirement: Friday and Saturday
• Weekly pay: $2,229.12
• Patient ratios: 1:5–6 in a 30-bed unit (three 10-bed units)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for surgical patients (hip/knee replacements, bowel resections, hysterectomies)
• Care for medical patients (MRSA, C-diff, COPD, pneumonia)
• Monitor telemetry patients presenting with chest pain
• Care for stable CPAP or BiPAP patients
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• No drip titration required
• May precept nursing students
• Float to Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit, and West Campus Med-Surg Telemetry as needed

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year Med-Surg experience; telemetry experience preferred
• Must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to contract signing (80% passing score required)
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Willing to care for both Med-Surg and PCU patients

• Standby rotation for low census situations
