SICU RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Opportunity:

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks
• Minimum 2-3 years or more of ICU experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills required
• Float to other units per facility floating policy
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
• Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Documentation system: Meditech experience preferred
• MICU and MSICU background preferred
• IABP exposure preferred
• CRRT exposure preferred
• Perform procedures including chest tubes, tracks, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket; clean and healthy nail policy; neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors; body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Badge in and out for each shift with a required full 30-minute lunch break
• Clock in time is 6:38 AM/PM - arriving after 6:45 AM/PM is considered tardy
