About this role

You'll work 3x12 night shifts on a 49-bed telemetry unit at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - West in Prescott, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 21, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,224.

Your Role

You'll manage a patient ratio of 1:5, caring for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, post-catheterization conditions, and total joint replacements. You'll interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift. Your responsibilities include managing set-rate Diltiazem/Cardizem drips (no titration), and working with respiratory equipment such as BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatments.

Schedule and Expectations

  • Work every other weekend (EOW) with a 2-weekend requirement per 4-week schedule
  • First to float to East Campus when needed, and possibly PCU if qualified
  • Weekend and holiday requirements: 2 days and one eve or 2 eves and one day for major holidays
  • Self-scheduling system balanced by manager for 4-week periods
  • Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if under 13 weeks)
  • Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements and Experience

  • Current RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Must pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts with 80% score prior to contract signing
  • Experience reading basic telemetry strips, CVA/TIA experience, and total joint replacement experience required
  • Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation
  • One shift of unit orientation provided
  • BSN not required

This is a straightforward telemetry role with predictable night shifts and a supportive float structure. You'll work with a stable patient population and have the opportunity to expand your scope with PCU float if qualified.
